Some cool announcements happening over on the Jean Snow blog. Word is a new web magazine called SNOW is soon to be launched. If Jean Snow has anything to do with it you can be sure it will be filled with the latest and greatest design and creative happenings going on in and around Tokyo. Looking forward to it very much.

We have been welcomed back by a surprisingly warm Tokyo, well at least for this time of year. The forecast says mid teens all this week so we are happy to be offered that to adjust back into Tokyo Winter having come from a very warm Thai Winter.

A quick message to let you know that Masao and I will be traveling to Thailand for 10 days. An adventure that will include shopping, food, a friend's wedding, a hoop workshop and hopefully lots of massages. We will return on January 16, 2010 with all the energy we need to make this year a powerful and exciting one.

New Year celebrations in Japan are a mixed bag of spiritual adventures and energized party going. This year we were lucky enough to bring in the new year with the chief&mischief crew at Roppongi lounge space FM57 for The Drop party.

Sending huge thanks out in to the big wide world to all those who contributed to another amazing year! The year kicked off with fresh creation and colorful new pieces and basically sky rocketed from there, the tone was set.

This year we welcomed a diverse range of professional and talented creators and quality products to the pages of Tokyo Made.

Although times seemed tough around the world we were constantly grateful for the support and encouraged by the obvious fact that the world supports hand made, Japan made and independently made. Shoppers were on the hunt for unique quality more than ever before!

The TokyoMade Market, kicking off in 2009, has been a success with visitors and shoppers from all around the world stopping in to say hi and purchase locally created fashion and art. We look forward to growing the offline side of TokyoMade in 2010.

Sleepy & Booは、拠点であるNYCで、Basicを設立し、レジデントDJを務め、大人気のナイトクラブ Sullivan Roomでthrowdownという土曜夜のパーティーを開催。彼らは頻繁にニューヨーク中の様々な（Cielo, Webster Hall, Pacha and Water Taxi Beachなどで 開催されているElectric Zoo Festivalでのレギュラー出演など）を回りDJし続けている。

From their home base in New York, Sleepy & Boo have been the resident DJs and driving force behind Basic NYC, their celebrated Saturday night throwdown at New York’s infamous Sullivan Room nightclub. The duo are consistently DJing across New York as well: from the Electric Zoo Festival to regular sets at notable venues like Cielo, Webster Hall, Pacha and Water Taxi Beach.

There has been such a great response to the TokyoMade Market this time round that mememachine gallery will host it for an extended time. The TokyoMade Market, with a selection of creators art, fashion and accessories will be open until January 17, 2010.
