Photographer Hal has released his latest photo book Couple Jam featuring 56 couples jammed in their bath tubs together. Masao went along to the opening gallery exhibition and grabbed a signed copy that we are giving away to one Tokyo Made blog reader.

I would jam into a bathtub with my dog. He's small, so it wouldn't actually be jamming but he's cuddly and squishy and would make a great pillow.

I would want to be stuck in my bath tub with my best friend because i haven't seen her in a long time because i'm abroad we have so much to talk about and I think being jammed in a bathtub together would be a good opportunity to talk. :)

If I were jammed into a bath tub with anyone it would be my two roommates. We'd squish in somehow and realize that it's actually pretty comfortable after you get situated. Then the conversation would carry on to usual things like the conversation at dinner, and how your toe is in my ear, and did you see Sarah's new piece in the gallery? I saw her working on it in her studio. Don't move your knee like that! Hey, why does your hair always smell so good?
And unless the charming scene is broken by some uncontrollable fit of laughter, I imagine we could stay there for hours.

I know it's really predictable to say your lover, so while that is my real answer, for entertainment's sake, I'll say that I'd like to be stuffed in a bathtub with Mr. Mewton, my brother's hairless cat. Some may say he looks like an alien/Gremlin, but he feels like velvet and he's like a teeny tiny heater, so I know he'd keep me nice and warm in there. ;)

I was going to say as many people as possible (as long as they smelt good...) just to experience it to the maximum... then I flashed back to the Yamanote line...
now I'm thinking I'd like to be jammed in a bathtub with Hayami Mokomichi... oh wait he is huge, ok let's say Kamenashi Kazuya because he is so cute and fluffy like the best combination of person/pet...
ok I have it, I'd like to be jammed in with someone from one of the bands I used to play in, because then we could jam for real :D

Hang on, just had another idea.. if I was jammed in with someone that I'd never gotten on well with, or had had a fight with or some grudge against, I guess we would probably end up making it up... or maybe having a huge fight... or both... either way, would be entertaining!

I prefer my tub to myself, but if I absolutely had to, I would share it with my 15 cats, Lucy, Luccelle, Louise, Luke, Luanne, Lily, Lillian, Loots, Looter, Larry, Larrisa, Lex, Lexi, Lucky, and Luck. =)

He's from a Korean boyband and he's just tooooo ahdorable to pass and I wouldn't mind listening and looking at him on how he would complain how tight the space is and pouts. kyaaa!

I am not sure I want to be jammed! It looks quite uncomfortable....But I am a high school photo teacher and this has inspired me. So, I can use my students as guniea pigs to try the whole jamming in the tub thing. I will just have to make sure to mention that clothes are REQUIRED not optional, as you know how teens think!

I would like to be jammed into the tub with Prince.
We would lie there and jam together, singing along to all the old favorites - raspberry (jam) beret, Alphabet Street (OW), Darling Nikki (oo er - temperature rises) finally we'd finish up with the anthem 'Purple rain'. We'd take a chorus and verse each then hit up some sensational harmonies for the final stanza. He would be wearing a purple lace jumpsuit and high heels. And me, nothing besides a raspberry beret.
Besides, with Prince being so wee, there'd be way more room for me.

I'd like to be jammed in a bathtub with anyone who isn't really concerned about personal space, and preferably someone as skinny as me so that we would both be nice and comfortable. And why are we both in a bathtub together? I'm never against trying new things.

I would like to be trapped in a bath tub with my little sis. We may fight over space, but once that's settled she's really comfortable (to be around and to lay on, like your bed or an old bean bag.)
I could be around her day and night, because I love to fight with her and hang out with her :D.
