Nani Birds in Shibuya Station - Art Below Tokyo 2008

Art Below have made their way to the streets of Tokyo and are currently holding the first ever art exhibition in a Tokyo metro station. The exhibition starts today and will run until September 1st. Posters will be displayed on the Ginza Line platform.

Nani Bird creator, Josh 'MCKIBILLO' McKible is one of 15 artists who were selected to display their art in the Shibuya Station ticket hall. The exhibition is being covered by Dazed & Confused Magazine in Japan and in the UK as well as on-line at dazeddigital and PingMag.

Art Below started in London and has been successfully using ad space for art exhibitions for several years now. This is their first foray into Tokyo. Head to Shibuya station this week to check out Josh's creation featuring a Nani Bird as well as the 14 other pieces of art. Not going to be in the Shibuya area this week?
