Jingumae - scratching the surface

ken5.jpg
Wandering the streets of Jingumae in Tokyo you are sure to stumble upon tresure after pleasure after treasure.
We happened upon Kens Scratch some time ago and were instantly taken by the range of accessories exuding raw chic and original style.

Walking up the make shift steps and into the exposed concrete space we caught the vibe of the no fuss, uniquely artistic style. The space and the creations on display set off this feeling that purveys an earthly inspiration and a raw lust for contemporary metro-slow design.

Connecting automatically with the feeling of the space and the individual creations we ended up buying not only our engagement rings from Ken but also some necklaces, including the tsuchi piece. It seems we are not the only ones inspired by and compelled to by these accessories. Kens Scratch has made quite a name for himself working from the Jingumae workshop and selling online within Japan, he has become renowned for his excellence and strength of design.
